Evan Pillsbury is an Enrolled Agent or federally authorized tax practitioner empowered by the U.S. Dept. of Treasury to represent taxpayers before the IRS for tax issues including audits, collections, and appeals. He has several years experience in diagnosing a taxpayer’s issue, developing the most beneficial course of action, and making sure the issue is resolved in a timely and proper manner.

Evan is originally from Ohio and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Wright State University in 2013. Upon graduating, he moved to California with his wife and obtained his health and life insurance license to help people navigate through the tax implications of receiving the premium tax credit implemented by the Affordable Care Act. After helping countless people who qualified for the premium tax credit, Evan decided to broaden his scope of the tax profession. He joined a firm where he worked for three years, reviewing over 900 cases and advising clients on how to best solve their tax issues before coming to work for Spaulding Legal APC.
